A customer came to me with a photo of a beloved horse that her daughter (expecting a baby girl in January '12) rode for many years. Unfortunately, the horse was put down. She wanted me to paint a likeness of the mare in my style so she could give it to her daughter as a surprise shower gift. This was a very special assignment for me as I too love horses and have been a fledgling equestrian for several years.11/20/11
